Death of the Death Merchants

Do you think the Western World is sentient enough to finally notice a pattern? When Islamic lunatics aren’t suicide bombing, they’re perpetrating some atrocity to invite retaliation – or as some might define, suicide by soldier.

Of course, the world thinks Israel’s retaliatory strikes on Hamas’ missile launching site, a.k.a. Gaza, is “disproportionate.”  But if Israel brings death and destruction to those who see self-destruction as their true calling, how can any of Israel’s military actions be considered, well, overkill? Therefore, what the world really means by “disproportionate” is that not nearly enough Jews are dying to their satisfaction.

The New York Times reports on the United Nation’s concern for Gaza’s civilians:

Maxwell Gaylard, United Nations humanitarian affairs coordinator, said at a Jerusalem news briefing on Monday that because of the attacks, people could not reach available food.
Children are hungry, cold, without electricity and running water, he said, ‘and above all, they’re terrified. That by any measure is a humanitarian crisis.’

Since the people of Gaza elected the Hamas death-cult to govern them, they are hardly innocent when Hamas sends missiles or suicide bombers into Israel. With the election of Hamas, the Palestinian people figuratively – and for some, literally -- strapped an explosive vest to themselves. They, and the world, shouldn’t be surprised when it goes off.
